It has been a long time since we have offered one of these Ford Transit Fire Trucks for sale, and in this very near mint condition, complete and intact , it is difficult to resist!
This 1st issue in non-metallic red is a more difficult find. Complete ‘FIRE SERVICE’ paper labels on both sides, intact original aerial, opening doors with fire hose, which you can retract by means of a lever. Comes complete with the two axes!
Occasional little mark only.
Instruction Leaflet is included.
The colourful card box is complete and clean, although it does have a little minor handling wear ( ruffling and a scuff) at end flaps. No graffiti.
Issued 1968-74, although this version would be at the start of the production run.
