It is such a delight to come upon these very early Dinky Delivery Vans and this one is very close to mint with an all original rich vivid orange paint finish, and very close to perfect lettering on both sides. Solid metal wheels still have a fine covering of the original gold wash, too.
These pre-war vans made of lead composition do not suffer from the fatigue often found in the later second and third type vans.
This commercial Dinky was made for such a short time, between 1934-35, so an especially difficult find in any condition.
These early Dinky commercials are a delight to own and are in extremely short supply!
