Notes
A very fine example indeed of this early French Dinky tanker issued between 1956-59. Very fresh and unused with perfect detailed ‘ESSO’ labels on both sides and rear, bright silver ladder at the side. Obviously, this truck has barely been out of its box.
Apart from a few negligible dots on the white stripe, this tanker is as fine as it left the factory in Bobigny France, circa 1956!
The card box is a fitting partner; very crisp, clean and vividly-coloured with just a tiny puncture which has pressed back into place. Minimal wear besides. A most attractive example – so often these French Dinky boxes suffer at edges, and lose their colour and crispness all too readily!
A real gem and an absolute delight in this condition.
