THis is the later issue of the Ford Escort Panda Police car with speedwheels. THis fine model is finished in deep turquoise with white opening doors and complete POLICE paper labels. Complete POLICE roof sign, too. Opening bonnet and boot. Number plate “MTB 21M” at front and rear.
Little (surely factory assembly) mark at a door hinge.
The very close to pristine bubble pack box is bright, fresh and complete, with an intact supple bubble pack top.
Note the period ‘Display’ paper label. The owner tells us he has other models in his collection with this same sticker. From the U.S. Perhaps they were old display models in the shop at the time, or indeed from a Trade Fair back in the day.
