Notes
Earliest issue circa 1934. It comprises 6 figures:
Station Master (long dark blue coat), Guard (dark blue coat, brown trousers), Inspector (dark blue coat, blue trousers & brown shoulder bag), Policeman (in dark blue) & 2 Porters (light blue uniforms).
Each factory hand-painted figure has a rich coat of paint, glossy and gleaming fresh, and measures approx. 45mm. Some chipping.
Figures are not secured to the original card piece now (some part-tears to the internal card piece).
The vibrant orange-red lift-off lid box is complete and bright.
Note a little expert restoration to a surface score mark and light wear besides.
An exceptionally difficult set to find.
