Notes
A fine, all original 1st issue example made between 1949-52 with no triangular lugs next to the number plate, early ridged wheels, and rear axle fixed by tin clips. Large unpainted hook. A beautiful lustrous paint finish in French blue and red with paler wheels.
Bolt fixing and DINKY SUPERTOYS on the base. Spare wheel.
A few of the usual little marks to the paint finish at some wheel arches, and a couple of tiny marks at flatbed edges and roof.
The correct early blue box with picture label is complete, bright and sound. A little minor wear commensurate with age. Faint factory stamped ‘R’ at one lid end. Period price at the other lid end.
