D161
Dinky 161 Austin Somerset Saloon. Scarce red and yellow version. Near mint plus/boxed. From The Heart of England Collection.
Notes
Now here’s a rare and sought-after variation! This two-tone red and yellow classic Dinky car was issued between 1956-59. Presents so well with this vibrant, glossy finish!
A desirable car in close to mint condition. A tiny rub at a door handle. Not a trace of a roof rub, this model has a wonderfully vivid lustre! Closest scrutiny will find a small retouch at a roof edge and another on a boot detail. Little mark at a front wing has a small retouch. All easy to overlook.
The box is complete, clean and bright with no tears. Crisp feel. Minor handling wear and a fait stain. Correct two-colour spot at the end flaps.

Notoriously difficult to get in good condition!
