It is such a delight to come upon these very early Dinky Delivery Vans and this one is in all original condition with superb gold lettering on both sides. All sound and intact with no parts broken or missing. These early vans made of lead composition do not suffer from the fatigue often found in the later second and third type vans.
This commercial Dinky was made for such a short time – between 1934-35 – so it is especially sought in this condition. All original throughout with a scarlet pigment, complemented by virtually complete – complete glistening gold lettering on both sides and pale yellow-washed wheels.
Paint chipping mostly at one side edge. Few little marks besides. Bright radiator surround, intact axles.
