Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
This ‘POLICE’ Jaguar model is in close to mint condition with a bright red and white finish, fine silver trim, black gloss base with ‘Dinky Toys’ embossed. One-piece wheels and tyres Red roof light. Complete ‘POLICE’ labels on both white doors.

As is so often the case, the card box has some notable wear (heavy rubbing and an area of surface loss at an end flap), but all end flaps are present.

A fascinating piece of Dinky history and well worth incorporating into your collection.
