D724
Dinky 724 Sea King Helicopter. Very near mint/boxed. Complete with Dealer Card, unapplied transfers, Instructions for application of transfers, & General Instruction Leaflet. Not often found this complete. From The Cheshire Collection.
Notes
The Sea King helipcopter was first issued during 1971 in this card box presentation. This is a fine example, complete and unused with fresh and bright labels.
Close scrutiny reveals a little chip on one side and a dot or two besides. Note that one of the rotor blades is a little out of shape since it has been in storage for a long time. However, we find that with a little gentle persuasion, these plastic parts can be teased back into shape.
This is a battery operated model (not tested).
Apollo Space Capsule is clean bright and intact.
The pictorial card inner stand is in close to perfect condition with day-one bright colours on such fresh, crisp card.
Little crumpling around two of the wheel slots. Added bonus – this example comes with the Dealer Card piece *which the shopkeeper would remove for display. Understandably, therefore, few would still include this card packing piece.
Included are *2 x Instruction Leaflets, (one for the battery operation, and the other for the application of the transfers), as well as the unapplied transfers on sheet.
The pictorial card box is very crisp, fresh and clean, complete with all end flaps intact. Colours are bright. Tiny start of an end flap tear (really tiny!). Minor age and handling wear. Little rubbed area at an end flap where an original price has been all but erased at some time.
