FD32C
French Dinky 32C Panhard 'ESSO' Tanker. Very near mint/boxed (puncture). Small winged version. From a large, stunning diverse collection with many items in old shop stock condition.
Notes
From one of the largest, private collections we have ever seen, with many items bought new at the time and stored away until now. Taken as a whole, the collection provides an exciting, kaleidoscopic snapshot of popular diecast toys issued during the 1960?s -1970?s.
Issued between 1956-59, this is the 2nd issue with smaller winged transfers. Very fresh, extremely lustrous, dark red original paint finish on this ESSO Tanker, with distinctive detailed small ‘ESSO’ labels complete on both sides and rear. Intact throughout. Bright silver ladder. As with many items from this vast collection, this model gives the illusion of being made just yesterday.
Shiny metal parts – and that includes the axle ends – and smooth, supple, as-new original tyres.

Barely a mark to the unfaded, original paint although the casting is a little rough in places.
The deep yellow card pictorial box is really crisp, bright and complete. Unfortunately, there are storage punctures on the box underside. Resistant end flaps show that this box has been opened very rarely. Period price at an end flap. Tiny end flap tear.
