Issued between 1963-69, this delighful model has a fresh light blue and yellow-cream finish, intact opening bight brown plastic door, and detailed deep cream interior with red table top and blue flooring. Gloss baseplate. Fine example in all original condition with shiny spun wheels and a grey plastic jockey wheel. Suspension. As-new fine tread original tyres.
Few little edge-raised detail marks. Clear unblemished glass. Minor tarnishing to the towing hitch.
Bright yellow box is extremely fresh, clean and bright. Really crisp too. Quite an unusual variation. This box was actually intended for a Dinky 188 Caravan model in green. However, this two- tone model was replaced by 117 – this must have been one of the last remaining boxes and a printed label 117 was placed over the original numbering throughout. Looks like old shop stock and quite a rarity!
