Issued between 1963-69, this delighful model has a fresh light blue and yellow-cream finish, intact opening bight brown plastic door, and detailed deep cream interior with red table top and blue flooring. Gloss baseplate. Fine example in all original condition with shiny spun wheels and a grey plastic jockey wheel. Suspension. As-new fine tread original tyres.
Mark on the opening door hinges and a few little marks to the side raised body line on one side. Clear unblemished glass and a bright untarnished towing hitch.
Bright yellow box is complete and quite an unusual variation. This box was actually intended for a Dinky 188 Caravan model in green. However, this two- tone model was replaced by 117 – this must have been one of the last remaining boxes and a printed label 117 was placed over the original numbering throughout. A couple of tiny end flap tears but otherwise very clean, bright and fresh. U.S price on one box face in large print.
