Notes

A desirable Gift Set and a difficult find in any condition, this fine nostalgic set comprises:
1) 260 Royal Mail Van in excellent plus condition. Presents well with a pleasing lustre and unfaded colours. Royal Mail lettering and crest at both sides have a little rubbing. Bright baseplate. Few mere dots to the paint finish. Very minor flat spot to one of the original tyres.
2) 261 Post Office Telephones Van is in near mint condition. Deep original shining paint finish. Lettering is complete on both sides but note that the letter ‘S’ on one side is set at an angle ( as applied at the factory). Complete crest on both sides. Bright baseplate has a rub in one small spot.

3) 750 Telphone Box is in excellent condition with a bright original red and silver paint finish. One chip at a bottom edge and a few little dots besides.

4) 011 Messenger & 012 Postman are in near mint condition with vibrant original colours.

Attractive card outer box is complete and brightly-coloured, if rather grubby now with edge rubbing and age wear besides.

Pictorial insert is complete. Little of the usual wear and one little tear at a slot.
