D198
Dinky 198 Rolls-Royce Phantom V. Very near mint/boxed. Issue with red interior. With intact bonnet emblem. Scarce version. From a single owner from new collection in Buckinghamshire.
Notes
Issued between 1962-68. A most attractive prestige car with a pale grey lower and a palest grey body. Vivid red interior with chauffeur. Notably complete with an intact bonnet emblem and chrome plated trim largely unmarked. The windows can be raised or lowered. Shaped spun wheels and a matt baseplate. Model has prestomatic (i.e. fingertip) steering. Suspension.
Just a couple of little marks to the front bumper and a mere dot or two besides to the paint finish.
The box looks really fresh with bright colours on clean, crisp card. Storage crumple. Pencilled shopkeeper’s pricing at an end flap. Comes complete with the serrated tear-off tab.
Many items from this collection were bought new during the 1960?s, after enquiring in toyshops for old, unsold shop stock.
