Notes

Slightly later issue (1963-68) with blue plastic sliding doors at ends and middle.
This example is in original and unused condition with a day-one vibrant red and blue paint finish. None of the usual sunfading to the red or rubbing to the blue ‘Chipperfields’ lettering. Shaped spun wheels. Intact tow hook and drawbar, and the amber roof glass is intact.

Upon the closest inspection, one will find just a few small marks.
Nice to see that this example is complete with all accessories – notably an unapplied ’POLAR BEARS transfer, printed notice from Corgi, ‘Queensway’ Corgi Club Membership Form, packing card and packing ring!

C1123z1652

Polar Bears have been removed from the original clear plastic packet which has been torn.
Lift-off lid pictorial box is in very close to pristine condition with vivid colours, clean and fresh. Looks barely handled. No tears or splits. Only the most minor wear.

Not an easy find in this condition.
