Notes
This classic early Foden truck has a fine rich brown finish, with a silver flash and black chassis, black original herringbone tyres. Correct that this early issue has no tow hook.
Base is complete and bright with spare wheel affixed.
Issued between 1947-48.
Upon close scrutiny, you will see a few little marks on the cab roof and a couple of light strokes of expertly matched paint at a cab corner edge and on one side of the cab near the wheel arch. Really hard to notice!.
Nice lustre throughout and bright metal parts.
The early buff with a paper label (heavily sunfaded) is intact with no splits or tears.
These early Foden models are becoming increasingly hard to find.
