Many items from this collection were bought new during the 1960?s, after enquiring in toy shops for old, unsold shop stock.
This attractive Bedford truck has an original mid green finish throughout. Issued during 1954. A fine lustrous sheen to the paint finish, intact radiatior with both headlights, early smooth tyres, tow hook and bright baseplate.
Just a little minor rough casting on the roof. Couple of tiny dots to the paint finish if you really want to fault it.
Early issue so correct that 411 is not stamped at one side of the chassis.
The dual-numbered box is clean, bright with a crisp feel. Minor wear only including a small edge crumple and a couple of light creases. Original penned price at an end flap.
