Notes
An all-original 1st type issue from 1953 only, since it has its rear axle located in cast lugs, and no triangular lugs at side of the number plate. It has a bright mid-blue cab and chassis, red back, lighter blue ridged hubs. Large painted hook. A few small marks/chips at the places you would expect i.e. wheel arches, bumper and flatbed edges. Cab roof is unmarked, axles, bolt fixing and baseplate are shiny and rust-free. Bright silver radiator and lights. Paint finish is vibrant and glowing. Complete with spare wheel.

It still has the small card packing piece which tucks in behind the cab and prevents the cab from lifting and rubbing against the box lid. A very nice touch – and so often missing!
The correct blue box with a picture label is in equally fine condition with vivid colurs and a complete paper label. No splits and only minor wear, including a little rusting at the staples.
A fine example of a sought-after Dinky commercial truck.
