C209
Corgi 209 Riley Pathfinder Police Car. Near mint/boxed. Flat spun wheels first issue in the early blue picture box. From The Berkshire Collection.
Notes
The first Police car made by Corgi between 1958-61, first in a blue card box and then later in a blue and yellow box.
This first issue example is in close to mint condition – with a gleaming gloss black finish, shiny flat spun hubs, intact Police sign on the roof, and original straight aerial. With just a few little marks away from mint and a couple of stray dots of factory silver at a rear wheel arch. Rub at the edge on one side near the baseplate.
The pictorial card box is brightly coloured and quite crisp. No tears. Minor edge rubbing. Period price at an end flap.
