D173
Dinky 173 Nash Rambler. Mint/boxed. Salmon pink & mid blue issue with spun wheels in plain red and yellow card box. From The Berkshire Collection. A super quality piece from this collector!
Notes
Looking virtually as fine as the day it left the Dinky factory close to fifty years ago, this Rambler model has a gleaming salmon pink finish with mid-blue side flashes and of course, this is the scarce version with spun wheels.
Just a couple of raised casting dots on the roof – but it would feel over-harsh to downgrade from mint for that!
The correct, later style, red and yellow non-picture box is in exceptional condition. So crisp, clean and vividly-coloured!
Red colour spot at the end flaps ( must have been the nearest colour to salmon pink that they had in the factory!).
