C215
Corgi 215 Ford Thunderbird Open Sports. Very, very near mint plus/boxed. Lovely quality from The Berkshire Collection.
Notes
Issued 1959-62 (early version without suspension), with a bright white finish, light blue interior with silver seats, 1959 rear licence plate, flat spun hubs. Intact windscreen. The best example we have seen in a long while:
Couple of stray dots of factory silver near the rear light detail a stray dot of factory red paint head-on (from the rear lights detail – little touches like this were hand-applied at the factory).
Feels over-harsh to downgrade from mint!
The blue and yellow picture box is in superb condition – so crisp, clean and bright! Tiny age wear only. Period pencilled price.
Tip-top throughout!
