Notes
This rare version is in splendid, close to mint condition with a gleaming rich cream cab and chassis and a distinctive mid-blue back with perfect ‘DINKY SERVICE’ lettering in black. Red ridged wheels and smooth black tyres, shiny winding handle, issue with no window glazing. Complete with a working tow hook.
Notably, there is no paint loss at the tinplate jib.
In all original condition with a pleasing lustre showing minimal handling. The cream finish is virtually mint and there are just four little marks to the blue paint at exposed edges. One little chip on a bumper edge.
The correct 430 picture box has not fared so well however, with notable wear to one edge of the lid in particular. Note that this scarce colour issue is pictured on the box.
