Notes

This classic Dinky Gift Set is a scarce find! 1964-66. It comprises:

1) 137 Plymouth Fury Convertible. Near mint. No hood. Hairline scratch on the folded hood, few very minor marks besides.

2) 142 Jaguar Mk. 10. Near mint. Few little marks and a factory paint miss on top corner edge of the boot. Comes with the correct trunk and vanity case. Suspension.

3) 796 Healey Sports Boat on Trailer. Near mint. Few little marks to the trailer. Green & cream plastic boat has an intact windscreen, steering wheel.

4) 952 Vega Major Coach. Few little edge marks and two very small creases to the side paper labels.

All contents are housed within the clean and bright card insert.

Generally very fresh and bright; a little of the expected wear and tear around the cut-out for the heaviest item (place for the Vega Major Coach).

The outer box is really very fine indeed! One of the best we have ever seen!

A relatively plain box, and nearly always found quite grubby and faded with heavier wear to the card. This one is close to perfect! Very clean, fresh and bright with no repairs or graffiti. Couple of very small easily overlooked tears at the back edge of the lid. Crisp, sturdy card – this set has been well cared for, well stored and carefully handled. Remnants of the old sellotape still remain. Occasional light scuff.
R 814 Label on short end of the box – we believe this is a catalogue number used by a Mail Order company, since this set was originally found in Australia.
