A superb, unused example of this early issue Routemaster bus, with both a driver and a conductor, spun hubs and beautiful, detailed transfers! A few small marks to the paint finish only at raised points.
How unusual to see this Routemaster bus in the export walk-through box! A card and cellophane box which is so easily damaged – this one has a tear on the card insert at one side, due to the weight of the bus, and a few small areas of wear besides. The original cellophane has one smallish puncture too. The box is very clean and bright with an original shop label still attached at one end. ‘Special Features’ listed at the ends, too.
Very few bus collectors have this Routemaster bus in this box presentation!
