C356
Corgi 356 VW Personnel Carrier. Very near mint/boxed. Another fine quality model from the Cheshire collection.
Notes
Corgi military models are always sought-after by collectors, and this one is no exception.
With a sleek, matt military green finish, complete U.S. Personnel transfers on both sides and intact white star on the roof, bright shaped spun wheels with suspension, number plate. This model was issued between 1964-66 and looks as if it has barely been out of its box.
The virtually pristine matt finish has been maintained showing absolutely minimal handling (since it is by handling that this matte finish becomes ‘glossier’).
A superb example which has been harshly downgraded from mint due to one (probably as-made) dot on the roof and a couple of little dots on the front of the roof edge.
The pictorial box is extremely crisp, vibrant and complete. Lots of spring in the end flaps.
Couple of small stains on a non-picture side. Original fresh and bright shop price label at an end flap.
