A fine Dinky classic truck – this particular version has a vivid green cab and chassis, bright deep orange back with working, intact hinged tailboard and paler green grooved wheels.
Upon first and even second glance, this model looks virtually mint with none of the usual marks at raised body lines. Not often seen in this condition!

Few minor marks due to rough casting to the orange sides of the truck.
Nice bright baseplate with spare wheel in place.
Just a small retouch at a couple of wheel arches.
Correct for this box, this model has ‘Dinky Toys’ and not ‘Supertoys’ cast into the chassis, as well as 418 cast into the orange back underneath.
Indeed, this model has had careful handling and has been well stored, maintaining a fine lustre to the finish.
The blue and yellow box is complete and bright with no splits. Minor age wear and a small storage crumple to the box base. Shopkeeper’s price on the lid.
