C852
Corgi 852 Magic Roundabout Carousel. Mint/boxed (slight wear only). With all packing. Working musical mechanism. Superb, unused item from a private collection in Somerset, England.
Notes
Issued between 1972-74, this delightful nostalgic piece inspired by the Magic Roundabout T.V. series is a must for your collection!
In mint condition, complete with all 5 figures bright and colourful. Turn the dial which has Dylan atop, and the carousel turns with the instantly familiar Magic Roundabout theme tune playing! In obviously unused condition, with vibrant colours and complete decorative paper labels. All labels are complete, intact and bright.
Complete with packing card piece on which the item sits and another which wraps around the item in the box, although we have never seen this particular card packing piece before.
The attractive decorative card box has very vivid colours ? clean, fresh and bright.
Often the boxes for this item are in poor condition with heavy wear and end flaps missing- or simply sold with no box at all! This box has fared better than most with a little minor creasing in places, a clean, small scissor cut on the lid and a small touch of sunfading to one part of the top surface of the box. Small surface rub to one side and a little crayon scribble to one of the inner end flaps, so not visible until the box is opened. An unusual and eye-catching Corgi model with lots of nostalgic appeal.
