C406
Corgi 406 Mercedes-Benz Unimog 406 with Canopy. Mint (one mark)/boxed. Early issue from the Italian collection. Looks like old shop stock.
Notes
Issued between 1971-75, this is the early version with all those features, missing from the later issues: i.e. coiled spring suspension, wheels with rubber tyres, and jewelled headlights.
If you peer very closely
Early box too!, you my find a negligible mark (probably as-made) on the roof. Intact wing mirrors with reflective pieces still in place, and a plastic, olive green, detachable canopy, grey plastic tow hook.
The box is superb – very bright, clean and crisp with strong vivid colours.
Notably intact original cellophane front. Old shop sticker at an end flap.
