There were lots of colour versions of this popular Dinky toy!
This scarce early version has a dark grey cab, mid or French Blue back, red ridged wheels, white lettering, smooth black tyres.
An all original example that has some little chips to the grey cab at the wheel arches and another above the radiator, roof is virtually mint. Lovely lustre to the grey finish too. Few little marks to the jib, rusting to the winding handle arm. Few little dots besides.
The sturdy deep orange lift-off lid box has a complete paper label, quite vivid colours and no graffiti or splits. Box base is a little mis-shapen now and there is some rubbing to the edges of the lid. Penned price at a lid end.
Not an easy find.
