This model was inspired by the t.v. show ‘The Monkees’ and was issued between 1968-72. It is a superb example with a bright red finish, white roof, detailed cast wheels, complete with all four figures inside. Perfect ‘Monkees’ transfers on one side, very nearly so on the other ( (tiny section of one letter ‘e’ has rubbed away). Bright chrome engine detail. Not a mark on the white roof and there is none of the usual rubbing at the nose of the vehicle.
Just one negligible (probably as-made) dot at the rear.
Beautiful, virtually shop-fresh box is complete with the Corgi Club Membership Form. Tiny puncture to the card inner caused by contact with the nose of the vehicle.
