Certainly one of the most sought-after Dinky commercial models and notoriously difficult to find in any condition. Few collections can boast a Weetabix van and even fewer in this excellent plus condition.
This scarce Dinky Guy Van was made for just one year, 1952. In brightest, deep yellow finish with a first type cab and grooved Supertoy wheels. A classic item from Dinky’s heyday. The all-important distinctive transfers are in fine, original condition throughout:

Upon close examination, one will see the occasional little mark in the usual places i.e. at one front wheel arch (that’s all!) and a few at the rear doors (which open and close well). One mark to the box van edge and a couple at one side edge. Light mark on the roof may be possible to remove (looks like a fine light surface mark/scratch). Notably, head-on and cab roof are unchipped. ‘WEETABIX’ lettering above the cab is perfect. Transfers at the sides are very nearly so. Marking at one wheel.
Underside is shiny with bright axles, baseplate and spare wheel fixing.
The powder blue box with paper label is in excellent condition with no splits and an intact, vivid paper label. Faintly pencilled writing on the lid is just about visible. Little age grubbiness/ minor edge rubbing. Penned price at one lid end.
Typically, one of the final items to be added to a Dinky commercial collection, this one comes with a comparatively reasonable price tag! Always guaranteed to be a key item in any Dinky collection – its fame always going before it!
