An all-original scarce issue made during 1954-55. This truck has a vivid red cab and chassis, mid blue back, mid-blue ridged hubs. Large painted hook. Second type cab so this model has triangular lugs at either side of the front number plate. Obviously unused, one has to inspect closely to find the few little marks (usual litle marks at wheel arches, a couple head-on and on the cab roof. All are minor. Expected scuff at the tow hook).
Axles, bolt fixing and baseplate are shiny. Bright silver radiator and lights. Paint finish is vibrant and glowing. Complete with spare wheel. Only the third we have offered for sale in some twenty plus years of dealing.

Marked Dinky Toys on the base.

The blue and white striped picture box is complete and bright with no splits. Little age wear at edges etc. and the staples are rusty now. Faint shopkeeper’s period price at lid end.
