Re-numbered from 39B in 1960, this fine French Dinky model has a sand beige tractor and trailer, matching metal wheels and a white roof rack. Four metal pins on the trailer are still in place. Complete load of six plastic pipes. Two spare wheels, window glazing. Early issue with pierced trailer detail (later issue was solid).
A few negligible marks away from mint!
The attractive pictorial striped ‘Supertoys’ box is clean and bright. Small area of surface removal at one short end of the lid. Very minor wear besides. No splits. No graffiti. Dinky Quality Control Stamp ‘Meccano Controle’ on the inside of the box lid. Deep blue base has no sunfading. Minimal shelf rubbing on the box base underside.
