C207
Corgi 207 Standard Vanguard III Saloon. Very pale green & red. Very near mint/boxed. From a very fine private Cheshire collection.
Notes
Issued between 1957-62, this model has a delicate pale green and vivid red colour finish. Just a couple of marks at the over-riders and a dot or two besides. Bright flat spun hubs and a baseplate showing that this model was also available as a mechanical version. Wonderful lustre makes this an exceptional display piece!
There is a little chipping to one rear light and a few stray dots of (factory) silver near the other headlight. Few tiny dots besides and a little casting mark.
Period number plates, tax disk and GB label have been applied.
The blue and yellow pictorial box is really crisp, clean and bright.(More commonly found in the earlier all blue box). Shopkeeper’s pricing at an end flap.
A nice example throughout.
