D25M
Dinky 25M Bedford End Tipper. Scarce 1st issue in dark green with *black ridged wheels*. Excellent/never individually boxed. From a large private European collection.
Notes
This is the 1st issue made between 1948-5 and was sold from Dinky trade boxes before it was boxed individually and renumbered to 410. This scarce version has a deep green finish and black wheels. Presents well with a pleasing lustre.
Bright winding handle, base and metal parts generally.
Attractive detailed radiator and headlight fitting. Small baseplate print.
On close scrutiny, you will see the expected little marks that this truck has picked up over the years. Also, some little attempts to retouch in places. The roof looks fine but upon minute scrutiny, it looks as if it has had a thin wash of well-matched green paint applied (not at all obvious).
