D504
Dinky 504 Foden 14-Ton Tanker. *Rare version in CHERRY RED and fawn. Second type*. Very, very near mint/boxed (2nd type model illustrated). A premium item from a Dinky collector in Tyne & Weir, England.
Notes
A rare find indeed – this is the darker red and fawn 2nd type issue presented in the 504 box with 2nd type model illustrated. Few made for a short time. One of the best surviving examples, without a doubt. In all original, virtually pristine condition with just the usual tow hook scuff and a few mere dots besides. Most would call it mint!
The blue box with a paper label is fresh and bright with a complete paper label. Minor wear, a little more to the base underside at one side edge.
An exceptionally difficult find in this condition.
