C356
Corgi 356 VW Personnel Carrier. Very near mint/boxed. From the 1200 model Italian collection. Lovely crisp box!
Notes
Corgi military models are always sought-after by collectors, and this one is no exception.
With a matt military green finish, complete ‘U.S. Personnel’ transfers on both sides and white star on the roof, bright shaped spun wheels with suspension, number plate. This model was issued between 1964-66 and looks as if it has barely been out of its box.
Snall stray portion of transfer (factory) at one edge of the roof (may be possible to remove). Very minor couple of rubs on the roof. Still a superb example!
The pictorial box is extremely crisp, vibrant and complete. Lots of spring in the end flaps. Rarely handled. Minor shelf grubbiness on box underside. Faintly pencilled shopkeeper’s period price at an end flap.
“Join The Corgi Club Leaflet” is included.
Another ‘hard to resist’ Corgi model from this collection!
