C421
Corgi 421 Bedford 12CWT Van "Evening Standard". Very near mint/boxed. With early Corgi Club Membership Form. From a very fine private Cheshire collection.
Notes
A delightful Corgi model in superb condition throughout. Issued between 1960-63, this model has a black lower body, silver upper body, and ridged roof, smooth hubs. “Evening Standard” labels are complete on both sides. Bright baseplate. Lovely original lustre, obviously this van has barely been handled:
Just a little light rubbing to the front bumpers caused by box contact. None of the usual rubbing on the ridged roof.
The card pictorial box is complete, crisp and bright with a shopkeeper’s price on one end flap. Small corner crumple. Little surface ‘almost a puncture’ on the box underside.
Early ‘Moorgate’ Corgi Club Membership form is included.
