Notes
This Bedford cab fire engine is in complete and original, working condition with a vibrant red paint finish, correct that this early issue has no window glazing. Both ladder components are bright and clean, extending and elevating well when the winding handle is turned.
Couple of very minor marks as well as the usual marks where the ladder rests on the roof supports (minimal marking at this point).
Both bells are bright as are the ladder and baseplate. Small amount of corrosion to one of the winding handle cuffs.
A very nice example which comes in its striped Supertoys box, complete with both upper and lower packing pieces (expected ruffling due to the weight of the model).
Minor handling wear to the box (occsional rub etc) and a small corner edge split. Shopkeeper’s penned price at one end of the lid.
Dinky stamp inside the lid dates this p[articular example from 1958.
