Notes
Issued during 1959, this attractive Zodiac model has a sunshine bright yellow and white finish, working battery-operated front and rear lights (tested). With driver. Light fawn interior. Complete front number plate, tiny corner nick to the rear plate.
Looks very fine on display.
Battery casing is intact and when a suitable battery is inserted, this lights up the delicate original little bulb which illuminates the front and rear lights.
There are a couple of little marks at bumpers and three stray drips of what looks like varnish at the boot area. May be possible to remove.
The colourful box is very crisp and fresh-looking. However, two little pieces of sticky tape have been used to re-inforce the tuck-in part of one large end flap ( preventing rather than repairing a tear), and there is a small area of grubby staning at one corner. Seam tear at a small end flap.
Comes complete with no less than 3 leaflets! The Collector’s Card, the promotional Leaflet/Membership Form and the Instruction Leaflet for the Lighting Unit.
