Notes
This super Corgi car was made between 1956-61, in two different colour finishes. The model has a fresh cream paint finish, red seats, unpainted steering wheel, flat spun wheels, early baseplate, and an intact windscreen. An impressive model from Corgi – especially considering that this car was made during the first year of production! This is a well cast example with an outstanding lustre.
There is a paint blemish on one wheel arch edge as well as a couple of little touch-ins. Couple of negligible rubs on the front bumper.
This example also comes with the colourful promotional booklet.
The early blue picture box is extremely bright and fresh, with outstanding vivid colours. Nice crisp feel. Minor handling wear only (couple of rubs). No graffiti.
