A sought-after item indeed from the French Dinky factory issued between 1969-70 only. This particular example is in close to mint condition. There are no marks to the paint finish and the transfers are virtually perfect (one small portion has flaked off on one side). Paper label “Liquides Inflammables” is complete and perfect at the rear of the truck. The filler caps on the top of the tank are always susceptible to damage – rarely are they found perfectly intact. This model has fared better than most – just one of the small hinges is missing (not immediately obvious). The base on which the truck sits is in virtually mint condtion – just a little wear to one of the wheel slots. The outer box is very fresh, clean and bright indeed. No signs of age wear. Originally, there would have been a French Raod sign included – no longer present with this example.
A scarce model which is becoming increasingly difficult to find.
