It is always thrilling to find South African Dinky models – so diificult to come by, especially in authentic condition and in the correct box. The model colours are always unusual and markedly different from the standard U.K issues too.
This Anglia model is finished in a delicate blue grey with a vivid red detailed interior, cream steering wheel, shiny spun wheels, black tyres with a fine tread.

In beautiful, all original condition with a lovely sheen. One little mark at a rear wing tip and a few barely visible dots if you really want to find them!
The correct South African box is an especially difficult find. An even more elusive find in this condition! Vibrant sharp colours on crisp card, complete with all end flaps and no repairs. Very small edge scuff at an end flap and negligible wear besides. Small, neat penned pricing at an end flap. Note the correct Afrikaans printed in the box on one face and the tiny print Arthur E. Harris (sole distributor), ‘Printed in South Africa’ on the box underside.
