Notes

We are very pleased to offer for sale this delightful early Corgi working mechanical model finished in sleek and lustrous original deep green, with flat spun wheels. Hard to believe that this car is fifty two or so years old!

Simple clean lines and a shining all original finish on this early Corgi model (with windows, of course). Exceptional display piece; it is only upon near-microscopic scrutiny that a couple of the tiniest marks may be found. Most would call it mint!
The early powder blue pictorial box is complete and strongly-coloured, if a little rubbed at edges now. All end flaps are intact, however, and the card has a crisp feel. Pencilled writing on the box underside has been largely erased now. No tears. Complete with the colour promotional booklet included with many of the earliest Corgi cars incorporating the the early ‘Moorgate’ Club Membership Form.
Full of nostalgic appeal and a fine investment piece.
