Notes
Issued in various colour finishes between 1954-59 before its brief re-numbering to 538. This is one of the most difficult of the 2nd type versions to find – model is finished in butter lemon-yellow with a deep green roof, silver trim, convex hubs, white tyres. Presents nicely with a pleasing lustre:
Some of the usual tarnsihing to the plating on the wheels and the tyres have been replaced now. Little chips mostly at front and rear bumpers and a few very small marks the raised body line details. Base is rather tarnished now.
Pictorial box is complete, with no graffiti. A little handling wear and (very small) tear at end flaps.
A difficult version to find!
