Early issue version (re-numbered 579 in 1959), in unused condition, complete with both glazier pieces stowed. This export issue is not an easy find.
The pale grey and deep green paint finish is virtually unmarked – not even the usual rubbing to the ribbing on the cab roof! Cream ridged wheels. No chips to the cab head-on, or at wheel arches – obviously an unplayed-with example that has spent the last 50 years in its box! One scuff to the front bumper and a dot on the plain grey advertising board. Clear glass and mirror finish glass is stowed. Very fresh, clean and bright baseplate too! Smooth original tyres (just a couple of tiny hairline cracks). Fine display item.
The box is very crisp, fresh and brightly-coloured. Couple of thumb tears at end flap seams. No graffiti. Light crease. As-new feel to the card. Rare to find like this!
