An early example – made during one year only – 1948! A really attractive Bedford truck with a bright paint finish in the early correct buff box.
Presents extremely well. Under close scrutiny, one can see a few little rubs at the raised side details. A couple of tiny dabs of paint to a couple of small marks at the top of one of the wagon sides and another whre the paint has blistered slightly. Occasional tiny mark besides, including minor blistering at one rear corner edge. 20mph sign is in place at the rear wheel arch. Shiny baseplate and spare wheel is stowed behind the cab.

The box is bright and sound with a complete paper label. Clean and fresh looking sturdy card. Note the factory stamp ‘R’ in red on the box denoting the colour of the model inside the box. Couple of little stains. Some rusting at the staples. Shopkeeper’s pencilled price of 7/6 at one end of the lid. A very nice box!
