An essential item in your Dinky commercial collection, this Guy van was made during Dinky’s heyday and is part of the sought-after range of advertising vans made during the mid-late 1950’s.
In very near mint, all original condition throughout, this ‘Ever Ready’ model has a day-one, shining mid-blue paint finish and beautiful detailed transfers on both sides and lettering above the cab, too.
Gives the impression of unsold shop stock – we have not seen better!

You may find a few microscopic dots if you look closely enough, and there is a little assembly mark near one of the door hinges (small faint scratch). None of the usual marks at wheel arches or roof. What a beauty! This van is in exceptional fresh and bright, unused condition throughout.
Bright baseplate with spare wheel stowed and bright metal parts generally.
The box is clean and vividly-coloured with no splits or graffiti. ‘LF’ (lead free) label at one lid end. Small corner scuff to the lid. Bright staples with no rust.

Yellow ‘U.S. export ’Hudson Dobson’ label at one side of the lid (small scuff). Minor wear, including a small and mostly removed ink stain residue from an old price label. Dinky stamp inside the box lid dates this particular example from 1956.
