Notes
A delightful, early French Dinky ‘Avions’ Gift set, issued between 1938-40 and the first we have offered for sale.
A most attractive set which comprises:
1) 61AZ Dewoitine Type D388 in silver. Very near mint.
2) 61B Potez 56 in red and silver. Near mint
3) 60D Corsair 360 in red and green, in very good plus condition. Contemporary and a replacement craft for Farman 360.
4) Potez 58 Sanitaire in silver. Very near mint condition.
5) 60C Hanriot 180M in green & red, in place of 61E Hanriot. Very near mint.
6) 60e Dewoitine in blue & cream in place of 61F Dewoitine in silver. Excellent plus.
All presented on the original deep yellow card insert (tie securing the aeroplanes to the insert is a replacement). Bright and clean and fresh-looking. Tear to one top corner has been repaired. Small amount of pencilled writing.
Deep green lift-off lid box has vibrant colours and a complete and colourful paper label. Very nice indeed! Two little tape repairs.
Box base is extremely fine and on the underside is a little old shop label.
